Our standard ballast tank two-coat specification requires MCU-Zinc at 150µm DFT and MCU-Miotopcoat at 75µm DFT:

• Single-component system that can be brushed, rolled or sprayed
• It is not weather restricted:
  • can be applied between 6% – 99% relative humidity
  • can be applied at -15°C and even onto 70°C steel surfaces
  • no dew point restrictions; and
  • are not troubled by rain events 15 minutes after application
• Is surface tolerant
• Can be over-coated in 45 minutes
• Is flexible and unaffected by vibrations and steel movements
• Does not embrittle over time
• Bonds tenaciously to good ‘old’ coatings

This paint system guarantees faster project completion times and can reduce annualised maintenance costs as much as 80%.
